Allen’s Reel is a Traditional Irish Reel composed and arranged by Eddie Byrne as part of the Eden Fresco project, funded by Creative Ireland. Eden Fresco is an exploration of Edenderry’s rich Heritage through innovative multidisciplinary Art partnerships. Angi Ward and Eddie Byrne were given the theme of ‘The Bog’ to explore through the mediums of Music and Drama with the Monday Music group and Acoustic Hearts in Edenderry. Anne Carr wrote the poem ‘Allen’ based on the Bog of Allen, which stretches into Counties Offaly, Meath, Kildare, Laois and Westmeath. We can’t wait to hear it live! Enjoy at the link below – hup!
