Our year four report captures the wide range of activity that took place between 2024-2025 as part of the Creative Places, Edenderry project.
Creative Places, Edenderry was established in September 2021, supported by Arts Council of Ireland / An Comhairle Ealaíon (as part of the national Creative Places programme) and led by Creative Lives, in partnership with Offaly County Council’s Arts Office and the Municipal District of Edenderry.
In year four of the project we:
- Commissioned artists
- Extended our biodiversity project from year three
- Collaborated with Healthy Offaly to fund dance and movement sessions
- Helped establish an Artists Collective
- Celebrated an Edenderry-based group at the Creative Lives Awards
- Distributed seed funding
- Collaborated with ‘Festival in a Van’
- Ran workshops and information sessions
- Were invited to meet President Michael D. Higgins during a celebration of community arts
- and much more . . . !
