Phoebe O’Leary started at the new Coordinator for Creative Places: Edenderry in September 2026.
Phoebe will build on the excellent work carried out by Seonaid Murray (currently on maternity leave), supporting local creativity in Edenderry and helping create new opportunities for people in the town.
Based in Kildare, Phoebe comes to the project with over 10 years’ experience in youth and community arts, theatre and education. She has developed and managed creative projects, built partnerships, and worked with artists, volunteers, schools and community organisations.
Alongside this, Phoebe has worked on outreach and public engagement projects at University College Dublin, where she teaches theatre and performance studies.
“I’m really excited to get started in the role and build on all the great work that’s already happening in Edenderry,” says Phoebe. “I’ve always been passionate about the impact community and creativity can have, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the town and seeing what the year ahead brings!”
