Creative Places: Edenderry will be hosting a number of Open Conversations events to bring community input into the design and delivery of what happens next in the project. Over three years, the Creative Places project aims to put culture and creativity and the heart of life in Edenderry and we know this will only work with collaboration and ideas from as many people as possible.
Following some successful pilot events such as Dancing Shoes and recent creative workshops delivered in partnership with Festival Edenderry, we want you to tell us what you’d like to do next. We’ll get together and talk about our aims and ambitions for the future and what we can do together to make Edenderry a more creative place to live.
Absolutely anyone is welcome to join our conversations. It does not matter what age you are, what your background is, whether you have any experience in arts and culture. You don’t have to live in Edenderry, as long as you have an interest or relationship to the town you are more than welcome. You also don’t have to come with a particular idea or point to make, these events are about meeting others, listening and learning and helping to come up with ideas and actions we can achieve together.
You are welcome to drop-in to these events but it’s helpful for us to have an idea of what numbers to expect so, if you can, please register for the upcoming events here on Eventbrite: https://edenderryconversation2.eventbrite.ie
If you can’t make this event, take a look at our Open Conversation in Edenderry Library on 12 July at 12pm.
