Dancing Shoes is an inspiring new collaborative project between Creative Lives and Creative Edenderry.
The aim of this project is to reconnect people of all ages and backgrounds in the town of Edenderry in County Offaly through different forms of dance.
The project has been funded through the St. Patrick’s Festival x TikTok Creative Fund, which has awarded ten community-led projects across Ireland grants of €10,000.
Swing dancing workshops are scheduled to take place in the hall at St Mary’s Primary School on:
- Saturday 19 February 2022, 2pm – 4pm
- Saturday 26 February 2022, 2pm – 4pm
- Saturday 5 March 2022, 2pm – 4pm
- Saturday 12 March 2022, 2pm – 4pm

Registration is for the whole series of workshops.
This workshop is only aimed at those aged 18+. All workshops as part of Dancing Shoes welcome people of all backgrounds and all abilities. It’s all about having fun!
Note: As part of the project, filming will take place at some workshops so all participants will be asked to give permission to be included.
